Preparation Method: Step1 - Mix 4-5 tsp of Eastern appam podi with 1/4 cup of water; boil till it becomes thick pulp. Grind 1/2 a coconut, a pinch of cumin and 1-2 small onions.
Step2 - Add the pulp, ground items, 5-6 glasses of water and a pinch of yeast to 1/2 kg Eastern appam podi. Mix well to make a smooth batter; keep aside for 10-12 hours.
Step 3: Add required salt and make tasty appams.
You can also store this pan cake mix in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and use when required.
