Can be used as breakfast item. Steps: (1) Wet ponkathir Corn Puttupodi with required qty of water and salt. (2) Mix for 5 min to obtain desired consistency. (3) Transfer the mix in to puttu maker with coconut gratings. (4) Place the maker on a pressure cooker/ steaming vessels and steam for 3 to 5 min. Push out the cakes from the maker to a plate and serve with plantain or curry or chutney or with sugar
